I’m excited to announce that Lenses.io has raised a $7.5M Series A round from 83North,
joining the company’s previous investor, Marathon Venture Capital. This will bring us
closer to our goals of the growth of our incredible team, product and customer base.

Alongside this news, I’m thrilled that our vision is shared with many of the very
best companies in the world. We work closely with everyone from Daimler and Generali to
unicorn startups Babylon Health and Zopa on their real-time DataOps journeys:
we know that when people understand and control their data, they win.

In the trenches

For almost twenty years, Christina, Andrew, Stefan, Marios and I worked “in the trenches”
of data engineering and digital transformation projects in retail, media, betting and banking.

We experienced the same problems that are well known in the data industry: bespoke tools hard to maintain and then thrown in the bin, difficult onboarding of business to new data technologies, endless architectural meetings with security and governance on how to tackle data privacy, having no visibility into data infrastructure, etc. All these leading to too many delayed or failed projects.

A future-proof abstracted overlay

So when we started Lenses almost two years ago, we wanted to build a product
to tackle day-to-day data operations; a product that people like ourselves would have loved to use. A gateway which brings people and data together without the mundane tasks that all of us hated doing and prevented us from being creative.

We also felt strongly that DataOps is about fitting the existing environment. It needed to feel like it’s made for you, like a tailored suit.

And this is how we treat every feature in our product: keep it as lightweight, beautifully simple and integrate as much as possible within your environment.

What’s next for Lenses.io

We have so much more we want to do. We will use the investment to step on the gas to deliver some of the new amazing features that we have in the pipeline that further accelerates our customers’ DataOps journeys.

We are looking to expand our team around the world including our brand new headquarters in New York.
If you’re passionate about making a change in DataOps, we’d love for you to join us on the ride.
Take a look out our open careers.

Thank you to everyone for your support and here’s to the next chapter in our journey.

Antonios.
