The Role
We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager for AI and Developer Experience to lead the evolution of our product that enables Agents to autonomously build real-time applications.
This is a highly customer-facing, high-impact role. You’ll work closely with engineers, customers, GTM team and leadership to define bold product strategies that challenge the status quo and shape the future of how developers build with data and AI.
What You’ll Do
Product Strategy & Vision
Help define and shape product design and strategy in areas related to AI-assistance for engineering and intelligent automation.
Identify disruptive opportunities where AI can fundamentally change how AI can both build, observe, and operate data systems as well as access real-time data streams.
Be bold in product decisions, willing to challenge assumptions of the engineering workflows of the future, say no to good ideas in service of great ones, and push the market forward.
Customer Obsession
Spend a significant portion of your time speaking directly with customers, engineers, architects, and leaders
Deeply understand customer pain points, workflows, and mental models, and translate them into elegant product solutions.
Act as the internal voice of the customer, grounding strategy and prioritization in real-world usage and feedback.
Building for Engineers
Design and evolve products by engineers, for engineers, with a strong emphasis on usability, performance, and trust.
Partner closely with engineering to shape technical direction while respecting architectural realities.
Advocate relentlessly for developer experience, clarity, and joy in the product.
AI & Data Leadership
Leverage a strong understanding of data platforms, streaming systems, and AI and Agentic technologies to drive product innovation.
Shape how AI Agents interact with data systems, from observability and governance to business process execution.
Stay ahead of industry trends and position Lenses.io as a thought leader in AI-driven data platforms.
Cross-Functional Leadership
Work closely with engineering, design, sales, marketing, and customer success to deliver cohesive, high-quality outcomes.
Clearly communicate product direction, trade-offs, and rationale to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Mentor and influence others through strong product thinking and leadership, regardless of reporting lines.
What We’re Looking For
Experience & Skills
Proven experience as a Product Manager (or equivalent) on complex, technical software products.
Hands-on experience designing products closely associated with developer tools, AI systems, AI Agents, or data platforms
Strong background in building developer-focused products, tools, or platforms.
Solid understanding of data-intensive systems (e.g. streaming, analytics, observability, distributed systems).
Solid experience working closely-with GTM teams and presenting to executives
Good understanding and experience of data management & data governance processes within large enterprises
Mindset & Traits

Passionate about data, developers, and product craftsmanship.
