Don't trust AI agents on Kafka. Unless you have OAuth 2.1.

Many engineering teams are connecting AI Agents to their engineering tools such as Jira and Slack via MCP. Most are authorizing them by sharing long-living, static API keys and not properly scoped. 

When we give authorization for Agents, and their sub Agents to access systems and act on our behalf, we need to take great care.
