About Lenses.io

At Lenses.io we believe the future is data-driven. Building and operating data platforms must be accessible to everyone. Lenses provides a simple way to operate data with confidence, governance and security, allowing users to accelerate delivery.

Looking to make a difference?

An amazing opportunity to join a high-growth tech startup on the ground floor. As an early employee, you will play a significant role in the development of the company and have the opportunity for rapid career progression and learning. Our DataOps platform adoption is growing and we need help to speed up the development of new features. The agenda is quite packed and we are looking for a UX Designer to join our team and work closely with the feature teams in order deliver the next iterations of Lenses.

As a Lenses.io UX Designer:

  • You will research our users and customers in order to shed light into their characteristics, context, needs, journeys and pain points
  • You will synthesize these learnings into concise and shareable artifacts (such as user personas or customer journeys) which you will maintain and communicate across the organization. This includes people from senior management to feature teams
  • You will often also get involved in feature team work in order to help out with discovery or delivery activities, such as prototyping and user testing features
  • As the first employee of this discipline you will establish and evangelize the UX function in the organization. This means setting up tools (such as research guide templates) and processes (such as setting up research requests) which feature teams can use in order to be self-reliant in their discovery and user testing purposes

What we are looking for in a UX Designer:

  • Experience driving organization-wide research activities, from user research (personas, user journeys) to market research (competitive analysis)
  • Self-organization skills. You will have clearly defined goals and timeframes to achieve your goals but all the rest (such as communicating to stakeholders, scheduling recruitment, asking for resources) will be up to you
  • Experience working in iterative processes, such as Scrum on the delivery front, or rapid prototyping ones in the discovery front, like Design Sprints
  • Someone who can communicate, justify and drive the adoption of new best practices across an organization
  • Experience in B2B SaaS, ideally
  • Excellent spoken / written communication in English

What we offer:

  • Competitive Salary and benefits
  • Startup agility and flexibility
  • An opportunity to work with exceptional, professional people in their fields
  • Work flexible hours
  • A flexible working environment with colleagues of our offices in London, Athens and Amsterdam or even just from your cozy home.
